Add to Home Screen

Adding this site to your home screen puts a "Meropide" icon on your device. Tapping it opens the site fullscreen, like a native app — no need to open a browser and type the address first. Nothing is downloaded or installed in the traditional sense: no app package, no extra storage, and this site collects no personal information.

iPhone / iPad (iOS)

  1. Open this site (meropide.com) in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button in the bottom toolbar (the square with an upward arrow).
  3. Scroll down in the menu and tap "Add to Home Screen".
  4. Tap "Add" in the top-right corner. A "Meropide" icon will appear on your home screen.

Note: in-app browsers (e.g. inside social or chat apps) cannot add sites to the home screen. If you opened this page from inside another app, choose "Open in Browser" first, or copy the link into Safari.

Android

If you are using a supported browser (such as Chrome or Edge), you can add the site with one tap:

The button's visibility is announced by the browser itself. A few browsers claim support but ship an incomplete install feature — if tapping does nothing, see the FAQ below.

If no button appears above (your browser does not support one-tap install, or you have already added the site), you can add it manually:

FAQ

  • Confirmed the install, but no icon appeared on the home screen?
    • Some Android ROMs (Huawei, Xiaomi, and other Chinese brands) require a per-app "create home screen shortcuts" permission for the browser; without it the system silently blocks the icon.
    • Enable it under Settings → Apps → your browser → Permissions → "Home screen shortcuts" (naming varies by brand), then add the site again.
    • Also check the last page of your home screen — new icons sometimes land there.
  • The confirmation dialog takes one to three minutes to appear?
    • On some networks, Chrome first tries to reach Google's app-packaging service and must wait for that request to time out before continuing. This is browser behavior, not a site issue — the install will complete if you wait.
  • The one-tap button appears, but tapping it does nothing?
    • The button shows whenever the browser announces install support; a few browsers announce it but ship an incomplete install feature.
    • Use Chrome or Edge instead, or follow the manual steps above.
